What is
Homeopathy?

Homeopathy has been in practice worldwide for over 200 years. It is based on the philosophy of “like cures like,” using small doses of natural substances to stimulate the body’s own healing properties. Qualified homeopaths treat their patients by considering the presenting totality of their symptoms and prescribing carefully selected remedies that are safe, gentle, and effective. Remedies can be taken alongside medications and can be used safely by infants, pregnant women, and the elderly.
FUN FACT: There has been an official homeopathic physician treating the British Royal Family since the 1930s!
Homeopathy is a regulated practice in the province of Ontario and is recognized by the World Health Organization as the second-most practiced alternative form of medicine in the world. It is a title-protected designation with the College of Homeopaths of Ontario, as established by the Homeopathy Act, 2007, within the Regulated Health Professions Act, 1991.

My Story

Many homeopaths begin their professional journey because of a personal and life-changing health experience. I am no exception. In 2009, I struggled with a serious health issue and was introduced to a homeopath whose remedies significantly improved my physical and mental health. With this, I decided that I too wanted to facilitate relief and wellbeing in others.
Thus, I attended the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, becoming a Holistic Nutritionist in 2011. Following a car accident five years later, and again benefitting from homeopathic treatment, I enrolled in the Ontario College of Homeopathic Medicine to begin the process of accreditation. Two years later—and two weeks before delivering my first child—I acquired a Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Health Sciences. I am now a registered member of the Ontario College of Homeopaths (CHO) and am both a proud homeopath and mother. I look forward to meeting you and assisting in your personal wellness journey.

The homeopath-patient relationship is unique and begins with an in-depth consultation to understand the patient and their story. To understand your full state of health and how your illness affects you, the initial consultation for adults is up to two hours in duration. During any visit, you are encouraged to speak openly and can do so in a safe and confidential space.

Afterwards, I prescribe a remedy and create a plan to assess your progress. Each patient’s course of treatment is dependent on the severity of the disorder. My goal is always to have you feeling healthy as quickly as possible.
